• Client: Chesapeake Spice Company

Frederick Ward Associates provided programming, space planning and design services for a new 191,000 +/- square foot building for Chesapeake Spice Company.

The owner requested FWA to provide a building program based on the owner’s needs and wants within the maximum building size allowed due to the building site constraints.

Based on this information, FWA provided a two-story building that is comprised of multiple components, including a culinary test kitchen, men’s and women’s locker rooms, a break room, culinary lab, manufacturing facility with manufacturing offices, rack storage area, shipping and receiving loading docks, and second-story corporate offices.

FWA has provided interior and exterior building renderings to present building finishes and space compatibilities, as well as required equipment. FWA has coordinated through the design process with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural and civil engineering for quality control and constructibility.
