Bynum Run Interceptor
Project Description
Client: Harford County Government
FWA, under an on-call engineering contract, provided surveying and design for the installation of 9,000 linear feet of 36” parallel gravity sewer for the Lower Bynum Run Interceptor.
The sewer provided relief for the existing 30” interceptor that is reaching capacity. The pipe alignment included numerous stream crossings and environmental interferences.
The FWA engineers worked closely with the Maryland Department of the Environment to address each issue to meet requirements. The interceptor will support the development envelope in Harford County.
